Black Lime

Dried black limes, also known as limu omani, are a traditional ingredient in Persian and Middle-Eastern cooking. Burlap & Barrel's black lime powder is full of supercharged citrus flavor; its bright, tart and a little funky (in a good way) with a nuanced earthiness.

Grown on a small family-run farm in Alta Verapaz, Guatemala, these limes harvested at peak ripeness and then slowly dried in the sun until they oxidize, turn black and are then ground into a coarse powder
